Hello everyone, and thank you for reading my post today. I have just gotten my first CAG!! Yay! I want to teach it to talk so I can do some shows for kids at schools and was wondering what treats I can give to him that aren't to big and are fairly small enough for bite size pieces and what would be healthy for his feathers and his immune system. If you know of anything that will work and Vegas will really enjoy, please reply. Thanks again! - Kari and Vegas

Hello and congratulations on your new CAG. See: vdnent.proboards41.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=GreyBehave&thread=1111838392&page=1 for a previous discussion about training treats. Vitamin A is good for the feathers and immune system. This can be obtained from dark and brightly coloured vegetables and fruits such as peppers and chillies, squash, pumpkin, cantaloupe melon, sweet potatoes, carrots, greens, papaya. Zinc and selenium are also good for the immune system and found in peas, nuts, sunflower, sesame and pumpkin seeds and eggs. Jane
