Hi,
Sorry to be redundant, but can I feed Pearl boiled hamburger and white rice? My dogs are sick with the flu and so they are on this bland diet, and she seems quite interested. LOL. Thanks!

She can certainly have the rice. It depends what is in the hamburger, it might be too salty and/or fatty. Plain well cooked lean meat is better.

I was told by a vet that birds should have NO meat. Is this true? Missy loves meat and will eat any kind I have on my plate. if this is the case I have a lot of work to do to break her of this habbit. Any ideas?

They can have small amounts of cooked lean meat and chicken. This would be something to give them once or twice a week, not every day.

I just turn my plate to make the rice and / or veggies easier to get than the meat; Pete seems to get involved in those things and forgets about the meat. He will wait until I give him a piece. It's a shame that french fries are too oily because he absolutely loves them.
