Please can anyone tell me if they go on holiday or have gone leaving African Grey behind?? ???Have heard of some people staying in your home to look after your Grey...if so can anyone suggest ways of contacting these people...I live in Gloucestershire in the U,K.....hope someone can help me.

When we left mine for a couple of nights we had a neighbour coming in. She came in to get them up and feed them and then she also came in several times during the day to sit with them and she put them to bed at night. I don't think they were very happy though. You can find pet sitters in Yellow Pages but I don't know how many of these would have people with knowledge of greys.

I have family members come in to stay with ours, however I know that my avian vet offers boarding for parrots complete with music and lots of TLC and has the experience required to care for birds. I would check boarding also.
