MY BEAUTIFUL ASHLEY WHOM I'VE HAD FOR 6 YRS.,OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS HAS TURNED AGAINST ME. I WAS ONCE HER PREFERRED FLOCK MEMBER AND NOW SHE BITES AND ATTACKS ME, I CAN'T EVEN CHANGE HER FOOD OR WATER WITHOUT FEARING SHE'S GOING TO BITE. I DID GET DIVORCED LAST YR.AND NOW IN A DIFFERENT HOME SETTING. ASHLEY USED TO BITE MY EX.,SO I KNOW IT'S NOT BECAUSE SHE MISSES HIM

It sounds like a combination of sexual maturity and the change in circumstances. Reaching sexual maturity can make them aggressive and you have also gone through a change in your personal circumstances as well as a change of location. These changes will have been stressful, for both you and Ashley, but parrots, especially greys, are very empathetic and she will also have picked up any changes in you. Try to watch her body language and avoid getting bitten. Hopefully it is a phase which will pass.

Everything is different to her, as it is to you. She may just miss him! Who else is left to terrorize! Just kidding. Your in the start over stage, let her settle in.
