Hilary I didn't train Mitzi as such, I just gently rolled her over one time she was on my lap during a playing and stroking session. Once thay are used to being on their back you can turn them over quite easily but this is something which does require a lot of trust on the bird's behalf because it is a vulnerable position for a bird to be in.

Hi Jane, Ive just been looking at your pics on Prestons website. I see Mitzi seems to like being on her back. Gypsy is with me most of the day and I think she trusts me I suppose its new to her and will take time.
At the moment she keeps climbing up to my face and trying to put her beak in my mouth! Shes nuts. So fa she hasnt bit me but if im not careful she'll get me. She doesnt bite at all but theres always a first time.

She is not trying to bite you. They trust you enough to go for the saliva. We keep this to a minimum because of bacteria, but consider it an honor as he only does it to us.
