Does anyone else's parrot bark. We don't have a dog, he doesn't bark at us, but does at the other birds. Other than that he just does his whoos and babbles, and baby talks when he doesn't get his way. He's doing great on the potty training though.

It took me a looooong time this summer to figure out that the weird barking going on in my livingroom was the sound of a dog barking in the distance picked up by BoBo through the open windows. A very odd muffled distant persistant bark...and no dogs to be seen! I guess the dog spent the days outside while I was at work so it took a sick day to figure that one out.

LOL...Jake barks at me all the time. We have a chihuahua in the house and a hound in the yard. He sounds just like our chi when he barks. I'm hoping he don't pick up the hound's persisitant barking. Trust me, its a different bark all together.

When we first brought Gerogie home he used to do this little "yip yip" noise, sounded like a puppy barking. They did have dogs and a couple of pups so I never knew whether he was immitating these or it was just a natural baby AG noise. He used it as a contact call if he heard my voice but now he's replace it with a wolf whistle.

I have two dogs, a chi and a dachshund. Sydney hasnt learned to bark yet but she has learned to meow like a cat... I dont have a cat... but I am guessing she learned it from my mom's birds... They meow, but only cause I taught them too, she doesnt have cat either....

I can't hear a dog barking outside. Maybe he has better hearing than me. He does it when he's mad. Now he is making kissing noises. It's so cute, I go to kiss him and he goes mwa. He was going nuts the other day with loud whistles and babbling, I think he picked it up from the Einstein video.
