Chivalry has been kind of bad-tempered lately. He won't even let ME pick him up, which in itself is weird. He lunges at people's hands and tries to bite, and he means business! I haven't changed his diet, so I don't know what's wrong with him! Do birds pms? *sigh* Suggestions, anyone?

Isn't it currently breeding season for greys? They can get a little testy during that time.
How old is Chivalry? Has he hit the terrible two's?

Andi has taken to nipping others as well, which she didn't do when she came home. Must be the water!!
In all actuality there are quite a few young Greys on the forum, and the may all just be trying to find their place in the pecking order. (no pun intended)

LOL! So many questions! :-p No, Chivalry has not yet turned two (his birthday is July 7th), but it may be that he doesn't feel that he's getting enough attention. I've been kind of busy with life lately.

Snickers will bit and nip if he doesn't get my full attention. If he's on my lap while watching tv and I touch the remote or pick up a newspaper it makes him act like a little biting machine!!!  |

Snickers is such a cute name! Chivalry won't even let me pick him up. Usually I'm the only one he lets pick him up when he's grouchy.

Wilber (age 2 in April) has also been a bit nippy recently too (Breeding season, It may explain a few things).... One more to add to the list of troublesome 'babies'  sorry if this is a daft question, but when is breeding season classed as starting/ending? I guess I should probably know  |
