sparky has recently started making little groaning noises at my wife and bringing back up his food for her.he only does it when he is nibbling her fingers and climbs aboard her hand and then after 5 minutes or so he gives her his food. sparky overall does find my wife his favourite and at any opportunity will land on her.Is the above just a sign of loving her back or is it best if i find him a female buddy as we were considering that option anyhow.

I read this at a site on parrot body langugage:
Regurgitating: When done in the presence or in close proximity to a human, it normally means that the bird has chosen you as its mate, and wants to feed you. This action is also sometimes performed on a favorite toy or other object. Bonded birds show their affection for each other by feeding each other, and accomplish this by regurgitating food. This activity consists of bobbing the head up and down to bring up food from the crop, and depositing it into the mate’s mouth. This is also the manner in which parents feed baby chicks.
My conure used to do this to both my mom and me.
