Hi Mohd, Guess you can try searching the net in the "search" and just key in "African Grey Parrot". You will be able to read so many info that you need to know abt CAG or TAG. Let you finger do the clicking. Try that out ok.

Greys sometimes behave this way towards one sex. Mitzi (female) prefers women to men although she has never had any bad experiences with men. You might be able to teach him step up training if you use a stick or something similar rather than your hand as some Greys will do this.

Hi!
My Pearl (female) also prefers women. I am not sure why this is, as she has no known bad experiences with men, but she just seems to like women better. At first, I thought that she just liked people who looked more like me because she had bonded with me. She seemed to really like my mom, and my mom and I look very much alike with long dark hair and green eyes. But I have a really good friend with light skin and long blonde hair and Pearl seems to like her just fine. Then again, when any male gets near her, she is not as receptive, no matter what he looks like. Odd but true...

Mohamed, You have to be really patient, and let your AG get used to you. Don't try to push it too fast. Try giving it food treats from your hand, so it learns to expect good things from you. Speak gently, quietly, don't make fast, jerky movements. Patience, patience, patience. Lidia

I thought you had to have opposites sexes of the bird and owner, ie. male bird, female owner. Im sure it says this in books etc hence why i got a male bird. He loves women and hates men (good judge!! only joking). He has caused many an injury to boyfriends who say "go on, get him out, he wont hurt me". .... they dont listen do they girls !! Mylo doesn't like children either. First time ever I had my friends 2 year old round and no sooner had they entered the room, Mylo growled - literally growled at this kid!! I was amazed.

Poor bird. Get a Pit Bull and let them tease it and get their deserved wounds. At least the dog will go lay by it's bowl and forget it. Poor Bird is going nuts I'll bet.
