Nikko is not yet comfortable with the idea of showers or baths. However, he does tolerate a misting from his Misty Mate. It's one of those air pressue thingies Lisa mentioned above. The mist is very fine, and there is hardly any sound. I'd like him to take a nice bone drenching bath, but the misting will have to do until that time comes. I try to do it every other day, because any less than that and he starts acting like he's itchy.

You may wanna try puttin a piece of lettuce or some other veggie your bird likes in the bowl. It might be enough to entice him to jump in. Someone had the same trouble with their TAG, (another forum) , well a picture is worth a thousand words and the pics were hilarious.

That's a good idea! I tried toys, but that didn't do it. I bet a grape or an almond would lure him in though. I'll have to try that tomorrow.
Once I get Nikko's t-perch built, I will put him in the bathroom to watch people bathe/shower. I'm hoping that will encourage him as well. My mom was against having a bird watch her shower initially, but she kind of likes Nikko, and says she will do it.
