My AGP has started picking food from the food bowl and putting it in the water bowl, letting it soak for a minute, then eating it. Why and should I be concerned?

No, that's fine, he's just softening it. Joshua does it with hard biscuits or bread, he dunks it and eats it soft sometimes. Sometimes he dunks odd things, like pieces of apple or meat, but he usually eats if afterwards. Lidia  |

Pete wants to soak his toys in the water. Just keep it fresh as much as possible.

Mitzi dunks food in the water bowl but only briefly. She will dunk banana chips in and also Nutriberries.
Monty is fascinated with water and all his toys will be washed, sometimes for hours.

Pearl soaks her food also. It is actually pretty funny because she started out by just soaking pellets and now she also dunks nuts and fruits. LOL. I have to change the water about umpteen thousand times a day just to keep it from looking like a yucky rainbow!  |

Oh yes the soaking of all objects. LOL Wyatt lovesssss soaking about everything he gets, reminded me of a racoon washing everything before he eats it. They are so great.

Yep Silver soaks food in her water too. It looks discusting with all soggy bits floating about. She also poops in her water bowl sometimes which is even more yucky!

My grey soaks most things in his water dish.
He once tried to soften a stone by putting in his water...
