What about nails, cut them or use a file perch?

I use the nail trimming perches for mine and find them very good; I never have to trim their nails.

I trim Joshua's nails with an emery board. He stands on his bird tree and holds one of his feet at a time out backwards for me.

I have to have Jacks nails trimmed. He will not let me do anything with them at this point. He has some nail trimming perches but doesn't stand on them much. I want to get more perches for his cage but not sure how he will like that.

They should work well. How long have you had the perches? Have you got the correct size, this is very important. I have been in the situation when Mitzi had very sharp nails and I was covered in scratches but the nail trimming perches worked.
