Just curious. Captain Jack has this thing of shaking when I hold him. Is this something that I should be worried about or is it he is just not sure about me right now?

Do you mean a slight quivering, trembling type of thing? This could be nervousness or excitement. Mine do it sometimes.

Yeah it's just a quivering kind of thing. Just making sure I didn't need to worry.

The shiver in the breast feathers Pete does. I tell him "it's ok lil' buddy" and it stops. If that what yours does it's just the need of reassurence that something is ok.

My Nepper shakes. Poor little guy seems so nervous. The funny thing is I always tell him "Its allright". So guess what his favorite saying is now? LOL

When Joshua is nervous, or quivering, as they all sometimes do, he comforts himself with the words I would normally use, saying "It's all right", or "It's ok, baby". Funny enough, he's as comforted by his own recitation of the words as he is by mine, unless he has hurt himself or has had a scare, in which case he flies to me for a cuddle.
It's quite interesting to see how widely and in common these behaviours are spread, this forum is a revelation.
