Hi to all, I notice my Rocky tongue is white at the top and black under. Is it normal. I was at the petshop today and notices 2 african greys tongues were all black. Also Rocky is dark grey and a very bright red tail.

How white is it - maybe it is parrot dust.
CAGs can vary in shade of grey depending on their genetic background. The bright red tail is typical of a CAG.

Both my TAG and CAG have pure black tongues. I'd like to see a picture of yours. If Rocky starts to turn light grey you will need to bathe him; the parrot dust Jane mentioned causes it.

Babies have pink tongues then they go black.

OK, it is fleshy in color. I was really interested in why it was white. The pads of his feet should match. Pretty normal as Jane mentioned.
