This is probably in the FAQ, but usually the first four primary flights. After that, it depends on the bird. It also depends on the age. Probably more will need to be clipped for a baby than for an adult.

I clip 5 for any siize bird then adjust for a strong flyer with one or two more. Don't leave #10 for looks because they are easily dammaged and it isn't fun to watch a Grey try to get a broken one out.
