I don't know what happened!! I had her (my cockatiel) and Serina (my grey) in the bird room with both their cages open and when I went to get them sweetie was on the bottom of the cage with the door still open!!
The only thing I can think of is maybe Serina took a pop shot at her and hurt the neck! Sometimes Serina will give sweetie warnings by nipping her, but never hurt her and sweetie knew to get out of the way! They have been together from the beginning.
She doesn't look hurt at all. I don't know what went wrong!
I'm so upset!!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss, but it is also possible that she just fell the wrong way? We actually have had two cockatiels that broke their neck >_< it was so heartbreaking.
Again I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It leaves an empty spot in your heart that is hard to fill. My sun conure, Sunny, nips at my new african grey, Josey, if she gets too close and I know Josey could kill her in an instant if she so chose. I know it is hard to think of getting a new bird right now but there is another little one out there looking for a loving home. It will go a long way to heal your broken heart to put your love on another one.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's terrible to lose a pet, especially when it's so sudden and unexpected.

Thanks everyone. Wish I could write more, but I'm tired and so so sad words can not express.
