My roommate fell in love with a Parrolet. So guess what we have another new member of the family. His name is Riley. What I need to know is a site that give me a good recommended diet. Like do they eat fruit or veggies? Thanks for any help! Sue

Riley should do good on what you feed Izzy.
I feed all my birds the same diet just different sized portions for the size of the bird.

I saw a parrotlet in a bird store and thought it was so cute. He was a bit crazy though and seemed much more high strung than Manzi. I was surprized at how expensive parrotlets are, especially for their size ($200)! Parakeets are way cheaper ($7).

I only paid $90 for mine. he is 9 weeks old. It really is my roommate's bird I have all the bigger ones. She will work her way up to touching Sammie my grey HAHA. My sister just paid $169 for hers. Oh well when I get a good pic I will post it.
