;D hi everyone i am thinking of getting a macaw , but i'm a bit worried about alfie . i dont want him to feel left out because he is so close to me do you think it would affect things between us . i dont want to loose the bond i have with alfie . because if it did it would break my heart i love him very much but feel i want another addition . but if it ment loosing alfie in anyway i would not bother getting another he means a lot to me and he comes first .

Boo will climb down off his cage at nite b4 i have to leave for work to grab a few more mins of head scratching... but so far all is working out great, i dont think any one is feeling left out at all.....

Izzy-B was my first bird and in Jan 06 I got a Hans Mini Macaw. I always take Izzy out first to play he is top bird in the house. Then Gracie comes out. I have them both on me for some of the play time. Izzy loves to roll around on his back and play on my fingers while gracie walks all around me. So it is lots of fun. Don't know what will happen if I get the grey?

I have found that Greys love to have other birds around so they can rule the flock. I have never experienced any jealousy. He seems to like to call out each name for "nite nite" at the same time each evening. I've found: the more the merrier! Andi is starting to do it with the parakeets.

I have 3 tiels and 2 CAG. and its like. I have more tiels then grays when they are mimicing the tiels. Then if you include the out door birds, Red wing black birds, doves, phesents, quail and the viratiy of small bird. I have a quite the flock.
