We have to watch both Copyrighted materials (in pictures it is whom ever owns the film or ramcard), Verbage if Copywrited just link to it, don't cut and paste without permission, it is a form of plagerisum because the material is not intact. In our subject matter, and the fact we are all voulenteers they usually give the ok afeter seeing the site. Sceintisis want maximum exposure of their work. If it would be an act of congress to obtain written permission, per say National Geographic, I opted to re-publish from my site so they would focus on me not Proboards. You pull an article on the first cease and descist all id happy. Proboards get a letters and the forum is done! It is real easy to get permission, in fact a person logged in looking for pictures of a Grey, I gave him my website and said take any he wanted, no harm done. Just E-Mail the person you would like to repost, our love for birds usually makes us vane, thus giving. Just becareful, it is zero tolerance. These that John posted are very borderline because probucket is a puplic stache for prints therefore public domaine.

Preston is correct, here is a link to the U.S. copy right office if anyone wants to know the laws. www.copyright.gov/title17/ There are some new laws about HTML and PDF files. In most cases if you link to a web site rather then copy and past a picture you are OK but some people will take legal action if you don't have permission to link to their site. I am cautious as to what I will post a link to. On some web pages the web master gives permission to post a link to information. Be careful and know the law. John

The baby cags are so cute. Stupid question, how does the big Macaw feed her baby with it's mouth so tiny. That was a great picture.

There are no stupid qiestions! Nature allowe the parent to regurgitate enough for the baby to take what is needed, no muss, no fuss, and very little wasted. What really is inpressive is their body tempreture, at 104 degrees they almost burn your hands while holding them! home.chilitech.net/~pstone/babies.htmThese are good examples of well fed chicks, and in case you ask, they are Lutino Cockatiels.
