The more the merrier!! Animals adapt to handicaps well, because they don't know any better.

I may need to join PA too. I just got the list of current adoptees from the bird rescue, and they have a gorgeous female Solomon Island Eclectus. Poor girl had a calcium deficiency when she came in and several stress fractures, but she's all healed up now. They also have a few cockatoos. But what I want most of all is the big group of budgies. It would be great fun to watch them bop around and interact with each other.

we have a quaker parrot named buddy and he is the sweetest bird. he is a very good talker and picks up new words all the time, he is a little harder to understand though. we bought him from people that speak a different language and sometimes he just goes on and on and i have no idea what he is saying.
i was at a pet store about a month ago they had 3 baby blue and golds and i think the owner called it a shamrock,, not a harlequin,, absollutely georgous!! we bought our cage there and i put one of the baby b & g in the cage and started to push it out the door. i didnt get very far. we had a good laugh over it though.

Most of the time, anyway. Today I laid down for a nap, and Nikko chose that time to start a marathon talking/whistleing session. 3 hours straight! He's never done that before. I don't know what inspired such a talk-a-thon. Needless to say, the nap didn't happen .

I find that kicking back in my chair for 40 winks hangs them up. I awake to the evil stare like "what are you doing" probably because I may have snored the whole time LOL ;D
