My mom has several diffferent kinds of birds- she has begun breeding them- lovebirds, caiques, eclectus, patagonians, macaws, amazons, conures, etc. What is the best nesting material? I've heard some say aspen, pine, even chicken feed! Any thoughts?

Lovebirds like to have suitable branches such as willow. The female will shred them and tuck the pieces in her back feathers to carry into the nest box.

actually, her lovebirds have shredded the perches in their cages, and have used that- it is kinda funny to see, and we have one baby, now-
