I was just wondering which are more successful breeder in non aviary conditions. I mean breeding in ur house rather than in an aviary is it the lovebird or the budgies.

I believe lovebirds need a higher humidity level than budgerigars, during the incubation period.

sorry for late reply i was away and yesterday my net was bad. both love birds and budgies can breed in colony and give high rate of production both can lay 5 -7 eggs. budgies are very hardy against environment and can breed non stop all year but love birds need humid environment to breed so they usually breed in rainy season or when humid level is high. if you can provide humidity they can breed all year too..
