Hello Everyone,
I am now a new grey owner. My husband and I purchased Ozzy at the pet store at a very young age and visited him while he was being weened. Now he is home after 5 months and he is as cute as ever. My husband did a lot of research before purchasing the bird and he was very excited to be bringing him home, however Ozzy has taken a liking to me. He comes to me at anytime however he will always bite my husband hard enough that he bleeds. I have to pick-up the bird and bring him to my husband in order for him to touch Ozzy and even then Ozzy growls like a dog. We don't know what else to do and my husband is losing patients. Is there anything we can do to make the bird like my husband?
Thanks, Liz

This could be the most popular problem with a Grey. Read the Behavior Topic,

Thanks so much. I guess we will have to make my husband the food man.

How did Ozzy react to your husband at the pet store? Was it only when you got home that he started showing favoritism? Just curious.
