Hello everyone. I finally got to pick-up Pinot on Friday. He/She (we still need to find out which) is a 2 yo CAG. We had a 4 hour trip which got us home at 9:00pm. We proceeded to get things set up and finally got to go to bed about 10:30. Yesterday I found that Pinot is not a morning bird or was still upset from the drive and the change of homes, so he spent his morning hanging out in his cage. And I got some housework done, singing to him the whole way. He finally decided to venture out of his cage in the late afternoon and the evening found us enjoying dinner together, he had some seed and veggies and I had a burger. We then decided to share a Pomagrante and that was just tooo fun. I gave him a seed then I would have one. He can eat those alot faster than I can! heehehe. He kept looking at me sooo funny. Like "you are eating my seed too?! " All in all a great day! I am sure that we have some tough times ahead with him getting used to his new home, but so far he is doing great! He has totally swept me off my feet.

He was definitely worth the drive... hehehe!
Now to get him used to things. He wants to stay in his cage. Yesterday he finally cam out about 4:30 and hung out til 8:30. It is just going to take time. His sounds have been hilarious today!
Thanks everyone!

Many thanks....
Pinot is doing great. He has a couple of sounds that I can't figure out what they are though! The funniest so far has been the rooster crowing and the sound of something falling then it hits! He has only been with us a couple of weeks, but I have already grown so fond of him!
