:)Hi all!
Sorry it's been a long while since I have posted on here. Last time I posted I had introuduced myself and told everyone that I was getting a grey well I got him home now ! =] I brought him home Thursday night and named him Toby, he loves to cuddle right now and he takes one feeding at night as sort of a comfort feeding. He comes out of his cage easyfor me and actually jumps from his cage into my arms lol I love him so much. He seems to be afarid of everyone else, he calls to me when I walk into the room.
I have heard that greys can be one person birds?, is that true? I am doing a lot of reading on them right now and any advise on how to make him feel comfortable would be of great help. I am going to put some pictures of Toby on here tonight. I hope to hear back from people until then take care.

Congratulations on getting Toby home. He sounds as if he is doing very well already. They can get nervous of new things such as toys, or even something you might be holding, so go slowly to start with. Greys can be one person birds, Mitzi is but Monty isn't even though they had the same upbringing. There are quite a few members who report that their Grey has taken to a particular person. Even if they don't become one person birds, they will often have different relationships with each person in the household.

HI,
CONGRATULATIONS on the new baby, cant wait to see some pic's I have my grey 3 weeks now, and so far she has different actions with me and with my boyfriend, she gets the cuddles and lots of attention from me but she loves to whistle for my boyfriend, calls him etc.. so she seems to be getting on so far , i am sure yours will too, in 3 weeks we can see the trust building up with our grey, and you should too
