Hello everyone! I am new to the board and I just absolutely love this forum! Anyway... i am adopting a grey tomorrow. He is coming from my mother. His name is Billy. My mom is getting older and is just ready to pass him to me. It's getting harder for her to handle. Billy is a tad older than me. Im 34. Now I've read almost the entire forum and every topic you've all posted. Im so excited about this but am nervous as well. I know that greys choose their human but after going thru two favorites ( grandma was first, then my mom) do you think he will handle a third? Any advice out there for me? He will be coming into a home with no other birds so he will have my full attention. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Tracy

Welcome to the forum. I am sure things will be okay with Billy and we will be interested to hear more about him as I think he is probably the oldest Grey on the forum. Be confident around him so that he doesn't pick up any nervousness.

Welcome to the forum, and Billy sounds quite well-socialised and will probably adjust to you reasonably easily. Post a photo of your Oul' Fella! Lidia
