Actually, he's not new. He's a 3 year old Congo. My mother has gotten to the point of not being able to spend the time she needs to with Tango anymore, so I inherited him. He's a beautiful little guy with a great personality. He has known me since she got him as a hand fed baby so that helps with the acclimation process. He talks quite a bit, rings like a phone and then answers it and other cool stuff. I am looking forward to having plenty of neat stories to tell in the forums in the future. I guess I just wanted to get introduced and start participating here. I'll post as new, interesting things happen.

Mitzi doesn't do the phone ring but if she hears a phone (and this is any type of ringer here or on TV) she always says: "hello". Looking forward to more stories and photos of Tango.

Okay...wanna hear Tango's newest thing? He clucks like a chicken, calls my dogs, says "Tango wants a grape". and the kicker is that he says "I'm a sexy bird!". He's learning vocalization at an alarming rate. The weird thing is that he won't talk in front of me, but if I stand around the corner or stay in the other room, he'll talk his head off. Is that normal?

Yes, some Greys seem to be much more talkative when you are not in the room. Many won't talk in front of people they don't know very well either.
