Hello everyone. I've had my one year old cag for around six weeks now. She was very timid when I first got her, but she's improved a lot, and is now taking food from my hand. Lately though, she has taken to grabbing my fingers with her beak instead of the food. She doesn't bite as such (she puts very little pressure into it) She just seems to hold my finger for a while. Is this natural behavior? I think/hope she's just getting to know me. I'd be grateful for any help or advice. Russ.

Yes, she's just exploring you, and it's perfectly natural behaviour.
CAGs' tongues are like an extra hand or finger to explore with.
She sounds lovely, post a photo of her!

Thanks a lot Lidia, that's set my mind at rest. She's only been taking food from my hand this last week, so it's a new experience for both of us! And I will post a picture of her as soon as I work out how too! Thanks again.
