i want to ask :from the day i bought my new Cag and he is lazy
he wont move just to eat and stand up on the cage and most of the time sleepes and sleeps and sleeps is there something bad
or my Cag is lazy bird type and if i put him on my hand stand and sit on my lab again and sleeps : i need help do he need a vet or he is lazy but he is fine to be lazy with me and he dont make loud noises and as i told u he is 4 month old

Is he getting enough sleep at night? They need a good undisturbed sleep at night and will usually also have a short nap in the day at some point. Young birds need more sleep than adults but if he sleeps all night, say 10 hours, and is sleeping nearly all day as well then he could be ill, especially if he is also moody and quiet.

It might be worth it to have him examined by a vet and have some blood chemisties done. You might also call your breeder and ask their opinion. Most breeders are happy to answer any questions you have about raising the bird you bought from them.
