I've had my CAG for a week now. He just turned 4 months old. I have him out of his cage on a play-stand almost all day. He likes to play with his toys, but isn't very vocal. He does make sounds every now an then, but not as much as I was expecting. Is this possibly due to the fact that he's in a new environment?

He's very young, still. His relative silence might be as a result of his new environment, or it may be that you are yourself very quiet and he is following your lead. Generally, the more noise there is, the noisier greys become. They are also often noisy in inverse proportion to how much you want them to be quiet! Each grey is different, as you will surely have seen from some of the stories on this forum. Best of luck. Lidia
