I am posting a link to my new darlings pic, if anyone wants to see him(?) we are dna'ing but think he's a he.. LOL www.apexauto.ca/grey.htmI am so excited to be bringing him home on Monday, he is weaned, but just barley and they want to make sure he is holding/gaining weight, I am to bring him back in for regular weight checks, we think his name will be Ed.... LOL such a short name but it seems to suit, but will not know for sure until he is with us for some time, because names are in my opinion very personal and need to be based on the animals personality. I am wondering how to introduce Warren, my white capped to him, as Warren is quite a bit smaller.... any suggestions? Monday cannot come soon enough, he said a mumbly peek a boo today when I visited, too cute!!!

A beautiful bird in very nice condition. Short names are fine, easier for the bird to learn and repeat.

A short name, but a serious name, as they are such intelligent animals. A name with gravitas! That is a very beautiful young bird, it looks bright and alert and intelligent. Warren is also very beautiful.
Best of luck with the naming.

He's HERE!!!! I am so excited, and he seems to be adjusting well. We have named him "Kenny" it just came to us and suits him, he even tips his head already when you say it. He does seem to be "shivering" a bit, just the whole new home thing? He is playing with his toys and eating already, and makes "chicken" noises at Warren, Warren on the other hand looks completley put off and I have been making a big deal of him so he does not get too upset, Kenny also gets to see how positive my friendship with Warren is.
I am already seeing the signs of what an adventure this will be!

It is a wild adventure. As far as short stuff for him today don't worry. Jack says "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow, Savy" He has a few sentences that he says. And once they start talking they never stop. But they are alot of fun. Each one is different just like a child.
