I am an assistant teacher for Early Head Start. I work with the toddlers. I also home school my 14 year old son. I'm hoping my CAG Beau will pickup my words and say " Shane go do your homework". ;D Shane wouldn't find it funny but I sure would.

Hmmm...well I did manage an all bird/reptile pet store, but now I am unemployed for a month until I will work at 15 bucks an hour cleaning offices at night. Great college student job lol. As for school, I am stuck here in AK for another year, and hopefully my grades will be good enough to get me into the school I want, and if so I am going to become an Avian Certified Vetrinarian.

Also..be warned...Even if you cant decide what to study right away DO NOT go to the guidence office and take an aptitude test. I did that while at Purdue. The test came back and told me I should be a circus performer or professional athlete. The counselor laughed. I dropped out. Went into therapy, and now drive a truck. Go figure.

LOL Justin, but there is so much truth in that statement it really isn't funny. You left one out, Guidence Councilor, it's right up there with circus clown, but less money ;D

I work for a Food Broker. I analyze the items scanned in the grocery store you shop. It's an interesting job and I really like it but I find myself wanting to stay at home more. I wish I could work at home. I have the capability if I need to... like if bad weather for example. But I need to show up at the office every day. Recently I've discovered that I really enjoy my photography and the post processing of my shots. I've designed my own website... it started with wanting to post videos of Oliver and has turned in to sharing my photos with friends and family. Now I've got a purchase page for some of my best photographs so....PLEASE check it out!! My dream would be to be able to turn this in to making enough money to stay at home with Oliver! Thanks for your support! This is a great group. P.S. I just posted a video last night of when Oliver was a baby. Check it out when you get a chance. www.jillwlang.com

Preston - we are subject to lead poisoning here too if you aren't too careful. Its better than a rollercoaster ride. Gets your heart pumping to say the least.

I'm a vet student! I love it and hate it all at the same time! My poor Max gets so stressed out when I'm getting ready for tests. He's learning to cope with it all, and I think he's better for it because of all the moving and shaking I've got to do!
Vet school is honestly the hardest thing I have ever undertaken, and that's saying quite a bit. I have to go visit the sick animals to remind myself of why I'm doing it, but when I'm done, I'm sure it will be worth every minute of it! If you really want to pursue it, you've got to throw yourself into it headstrong--it's quite an undertaking! But if you want any more information, or if there's anything I can do for you, email me (egburnett@vetmed.wsu.edu).
