Mitzi had liquid antibiotics after the egg laying episode in 2019. I hand fed her the food with it in to make sure she had it. I tried various things. I put it into baby porridge (dry mix without milk) which I then wrapped in some mashed sweet potato, making tiny little balls. The most successful was adding it to mandarin orange segments, the sort that come in tins or little pots and have no membrane. I would get a segment, warm it in a little warm water, break it partly open and put the medicine in then feed it to her by beak. She just wolfed it down.

Hi Jane,
I thought I replied already haha. That is clever, hiding it in things. My mom has to do that with the huskies if they have medicine. Aka isn't eating as many pellets as he did before the vet, I think its because they might have been the reason he got sick. He might have picked up on that, so now I have to hide the pellets in his other food so he still gets the nutrients. Hiding them in his chop seems to be working well. I put his medicine in his chop now because he finishes that before anything else now so I know he'll eat it.
