A sad day for the forum. May he rest in peace. I am glad he has our feathers from our wonderful birds. Tom

I am so sorry for the family's loss and our loss too. His love for greys and parrots ran so deep as well as his love for us. He called me when I was battling cancer and the problems that came after the surgery. We talked for hours. May he fly free with all his friends that went before him. Continued prayers and hugs for the his mom and sister Cheryl. Rest in peace my friend. Love Sue

Very sad news. Preston was always so warm and welcoming, and he will be missed. My condolences and prayers to Preston's family.

I too am so terribly sorry about the news. I think I speak for all of us that Preston was one of the the true pillars of this forum. His expertise and helpfulness made him the "grandfather" of all our birds.
My parents and I have known him for many years, far longer than this forum even existed and long before I got married, he was there through bad times (losing Dandy) and good times (starting a new life in Canada). I have lost a personal friend.
I will be forever grateful for all he has done, and he will be dreadfully missed.

I am so sorry to hear that we lost Preston. All through his illness, I still harboured hope that he would rally. He helped so many people and we will miss him dearly. Fly high Preston. Now you will have no pain. There are many greys in Heaven who were your godchildren on Earth. Now you can be together.
My thoughts and prayers are with Chyrel and Mom at this sad time.
Love, Haz & Chyloe

Thank you Jane and Shirl for letting me know of Preston's passing. He will be missed, but thankfully no longer in pain. I know he is taking care of our fids that have passed and that makes me feel good.
It is so hard to let go and I pray for his family that they will be able to get through this hard time.

it is too difficult to write right now Dr P, you are missed. our friends on that side of the rainbow bridge have gained their own guardian angel, while we've lost one of ours.

Some of you have asked if there will be any services. Preston did not wish that, nor does my mom. He will be cremated with his feathers. His ashes will be placed with Dad's. He spoke to all family members before he passed, even those far away. He died content. Lori sent feathers from Pete and Sissy in special envelopes, so he know he had those. Many staff members grew to love him, so it was hard on the facility. Please keep in touch, we just love hearing from you all... Grace Murray/Chyrel Kennemer
