Thanks for the welcome. No, we adpoted him 10 months ago. He is wild caught. It was an adjustment he made very well. He had no attention at his previous home, here he has constant attention. LOL spoiled little guy of mine. It was quite a long haul with several issues from the start. At first he would attack all women, it took quite a bit of patience and a bit of blood to teach him to go on me and not bite. He was malnourished and vitamin deficient. He has gained 40 grams and has a well rounded diet now. He goes to work with me everyday and is never alone except for bedtime. The crowning point for us was when his previous owner came by to visit and Pepper wouldn't leave our hands to go to him. :-) That was how we knew for sure we had made the right choice for him by adopting him.

I'm impressed, that must have made you feel on top of the world. That just goes to show that with love, proper nutrition and plenty of patience you can win over the heart of one who may have thought no one loved him. I am glad things have worked out so well. It gives all of us hope that all things are possible.

Paco is somewhere between 7 and 8 years old. I was told he was 6 but on his band he has '99 stamped so I'm assuming he's older than she thought. That's okay though he's a wonderful birdy!
