Hi Preston, Yea - it's tricky. We used to always keep her in the front room with us, but we were disturbing her with talking, telly etc once she was covered up to go to bed in the evening. We started putting her in our spare room and she's as quiet as a mouse now. She even seems to squark to go to bed if it gets much past 8pm! The thing is, she seems to squark to contact call, squark for attention, and squark when she wants anything, ie come out of her cage, food etc. I'm having trouble stopping it. I don't really know where to strat to be honest!
