Mine have got musical toys that they can push buttons on to get music or sounds. One of them sometimes continues going for a while afterwards. Last night when I was covering the cage it was doing that so I told Mitzi I would have to switch it off.
I almost added: "Remind me to switch it back on in the morning" before realising there was no way she would do that.

Which musical toys? Mine have gone through a couple over the years. Manzi would usually break them fairly quickly. Maui didn't though.
There was a sale recently at Petco where some parrot toys were 75% off. I picked up several. Maui hasn't really shown interest in them though. We have a hamster right now though, so I gave one to the hamster, who proceeded to chew the heck out of it. At least someone is enjoying it.
In general, Maui isn't really into toys, whereas Manzi was always playing with his toys.

That particular one is "VTech My 1st Lion Rattle". It is meant for human babies. It has a heart shaped button in the middle that is pushed to play music and also a mane and tail that can be twisted.

I have never given Chy musical toys. She likes toys that she can destroy.

Mitzi likes toys she can destroy quickly. She is also happy just with paper and cardboard. She will completely ignore some toys. Monty is much less destructive, he likes toys he can chew on such as leather ones and he likes bells. I have to choose different toys for them although they both like musical toys.
