My family and I brought home our baby girl Liberty, or Libby for short. She was born 7/4/2017 so she is still in the baby stages. She was hand raised so we have begun some basic early training. I am fortunate to work from home most days so she gets lots of attention and my wife is home more than half the days as well. We are excited to have this life to share now that our kids are getting older and independent (college, high school, jr. high and 5th grade). I guess we just like kids! lol. We are looking forward to learning lots and lots and getting some basics down well before the 2s,3s... etc. hahaha. Biggest issue is getting her switched over to pellets since the breeder was a bit of a frustration and apparently fed seeds and peanuts. We have the benefits of being right next to UC Davis which has a great avian vet program and has already done a complete checkup on Libby. Looking forward to being here! Just wanted to introduce ourselves since we have already been consuming the info for some time. Here is a picture of her trying to get used to eating a pellet.
