I was watching a programme on TV about the Tower of London. During lockdown there were no visitors and the Ravens, who are allowed free run of the grounds during the day, weren't getting any extra titibits. The warders had to turn the litter bins upside down to stop the Ravens going in them looking for goodies.
They are fed daily with raw meat and bird formula biscuits, with egg once a week but they pester visitors for crisps. They don't like cheese and onion crisps though so they dip them in water to get rid of the taste.

Those ravens are so intelligent. Let's hope the visitors can return soon.

It did reopen but England is due to go back into lockdown on 5th November,so the Ravens will be mystified again and wondering where all the visitors are with their yummy sandwiches and crisps!
