My Sid and little quaker have both been with me for about 15 years, their only home, they talk to each other every day but due to size I keep them at a distance. While I was working in the kitchen one day Sid flew to the top of Petes cage and long story short, bite both of Pete's legs, Did not realize it at the time until Pete stated to pull out all her leg feathers and I saw the bruising. I took her to the vet and on anti-inflamatories which helped and I kept them in separate rooms for a few days until realizing they both stopped eating, playing and were calling for each other. What a mess. They are both back in the living room on opposite sides and never out at the same time until I am there. Sid has been very hormonal with me lately also , will go from being my loving bird to a terror and biting. Our wonderful vet started him on CBD once a day. Will keep you all posted. The past week everything is great. Darn children.

I never heard of birds using CBD oil. Let us know how that goes.

Mitzi can sometimes be mean to Monty, chasing him and pulling his feathers out. Monty puts up with a lot but when she was at the vet last year he wouldn't eat or play. Then they were excited to see each other again. Monty is very docile, he is certainly hen pecked.
Hopefully the CBD will help.
