Beaker has a treat that he absolutely loves. A peanut M&M. He only gets one as I figure there isn't enough chocolate in it to do any harm. (he wastes a lot of it). I started making him forage for it by putting it in a small Dixie cup and folding it over. He watched me stick it in the cup and he got so frustrated trying to get at it (he was pissed!), he walked over to my hand and bit me. Not hard enough to break skin or make me flinch, but he made it clear he was not happy with what I did. He finally tore the cup apart and got his treat. So much for encouraging foraging. lol

Chy did that to me the other day. We had to go out and she refused to go in her cage. She stepped up on my hand from the top of her cage. As I lifted her down, she bent down and bit my arm hard enough to leave a bruise.
They can be little brats.

Mitzi is very impatient. She eats a lot of Nutriberries and when she has eaten them she demands more by emptying any other food out of her bowl. When I swing the bowl out to put more Nutriberries in she grabs the bowl in her beak to pull it back in and I have to tell her to "Wait a minute Mitzi"
