The company I work for is made up of a bunch of young eggheads in their 30's, I am the only "old guy" (70).
We are on a ZOOM conference and one of the engineers mentions he is ill and went to a drive in test facility.
They are all asking about how far the cotton swab was stuck up his nose or down his throat and I mention, "C'mon guys, at least it wasn't an STD swab.".
DEAD AIR..............
I think they figured it out.

There is a UK trial starting to see if dogs can sniff out coronavirus as they already can with diseases such as some cancers, Parkinson's and malaria. Using samples of body odour these dogs could screen up to 250 people per hour. Sounds much better than the swab test, I just hope they can train up enough extra dogs!

I saw that on TV with the dogs. That would be great if it worked out but I doubt they could train enough dogs.

I had a bad Sunday and felt lousy all day to the point I took aspirin and spent the day in bed.
I felt much better on Monday but decided I would take the day off to recuperate a bit more, so I notified work.
I got told not to return to work until I have a negative COVID-19 test.
The results take a few days or more so it looks like I have the week off.
OH WELL.

Haha, kinda funny about the week off work. Hope you feel better soon.
If my kids so much as sniffle once at daycare, we'd not be allowed back for at least a week. Now, any symptoms at all mean probable Covid infection!!

My husband has allergies. When he is sniffling and blowing his nose, everyone suspects Covid.
I hope your test comes back negative. How are you feeling now?

Thanks for the concern, I feel fine.
I think it was just the culmination of heat, humidity and A/C that screwed me up for a day.
My body got confused!

Getting it back the next day means you didn't get to take a whole week off work.

Yes, I had a few days away from work, but I actually did work @ home.
I went to the facility on Thursday, but I worked @ home Wednesday so technically I had only two days off.
