I am fed up with the use of this word. Every news item, every reporter, every expert, every specialist, every presenter, is constantly saying: "This is an unprecedented situation".
Yes, we all know that!

Haha!!! They googled catchy words for this situation and that was at the top of the list. Now they're using it for all it's worth.

Since you mentioned it, I have been listening for the word. So far, I have only heard one person say it on our local news.

One reporter even managed to say it twice in one sentence when he was talking about the global coronavirus crisis and Boris Johnson being in hospital.
