Many have commented about the African Grey's propensity to attack feet. Put me down as an unfortunate victim for this undesirable behavior.
But it doesn't end there. Certain household items will routinely convert my otherwise normal and pleasant TAG into a fierce and scary dinosaur-like monster. A few such items include:
Paper Towels. If I use one she will often attack or at a minimum give the stink eye. Carrying a bundle of clothes. As in I'm getting ready to put them in the washing machine she will kamikaze dive-bomb me. Brooms. Mops. Cleaning spray or any type of spray bottle. She particularly loathes 409. Actually she seems to hate all types of cleaning products.
These are great mysteries to me that I'd like to get to the bottom of. Unfortunately they may be in the realm of the unknowable.
Nothing really bothers Monty but Mitzi has various things she doesn't like - those dusters on extending poles, any flex other than for the Hoover, a little step stool I sometimes use. She never used to like being sprayed and she would attack the spray bottle or my hand but she tolerates being sprayed now and just glares at it instead so it knows who is boss. From time to time she will decide that Monty needs a good pecking and she will chase him around and pull his feathers.
Somewhere in another universe, dear brother, you got saved.
I have a pair of burgundy/black checkered pajama pants. If Ash sees them she growls like she is possessed, it's crazy. I never wear them but sometimes if she is on top of my dresser and drawer is open she'll see them and go nuts.
We must protect those that can not protect themselves.
