I had family visiting for Christmas for three days and they brought their pet rabbit. Mitzi crackled to start with but soon settled down and was very interested in him. She kept saying hello and wondering why he didn't reply. The rabbit is fully house trained so was indoors with us a lot of the time. He was either lolloping around the house or in a dog carrier type of cage which we put near the parrots cage. He spent time in it grooming himself or snoozing. Monty didn't show much interest but I think Mitzi will miss him.

I forgot to mention that he opened his own Christmas presents and then he found one of Monty and Mitzi's presents and he started opening that too!

That is so cute!!
My sister had a pet rabbit. It was really nice how well they can potty train. She gave the rabbit free run of the house and just left his crate on the patio with the door always just a bit open. So he would go outside and potty in his crate, then come back in running around.
I remember when Manzi was free flying, he would try talking to squirrels that he found in the trees. He would start by saying, "Hello" and wait for a response. He eventually learned that squirrels wouldn't respond.

The rabbit sounds like my grandson. He thought all the presents were for him and went around opening them.
