I have a 15 year old Timneh Grey who has always been a mid day napper. His latest thing is to now ask to go to bed midday so he gets put in his bedroom (the hall bath) where he sleeps at night because it is dark in there. I go up and get him after a hour or two. Anyone else have a switch like this before?

Welcome to the forum.
My Chyloe occasionally has a daytime nap but she just tucks her head in her back and sleeps where she is. It is also a short nap.
We don't put her in a different place at night. She gets covered by a dark bedspread.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
He must have decided he prefers to sleep in the dark.
Mine sometimes nap in the day, either with the head round for a more serious sleep or just sitting with eyes closed. I cover them at night, as soon as they see the cover they climb up onto their sleeping perches.
