Biting

Hi Its been a while since i posted anything, just after some advice. We have had pebbles now for almost a year and she is doing really well and we love her to bits. Over time she has gradually bonded with myself and my wife but more so with me, she in the main sits with me and is always wanting cuddles and head stroking etc which she gets. She will regularly put her beak on our lips and give a kiss, this is where the problem lies, she has never bitten me, but will occasionally bite the wife on her lip. Could this just be a jealousy thing or something else. She has always done the kissing thing since we got her but more recently she has started to do this to the wife. In general she is a gorgeous loving bird and always has plenty of attention. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance

My son would walk away and not interact anymore.
Beaker finally figured out if he wanted his company or him to play, he needed to stop biting him.
It only took about 5 years!
However, now my son can literally stick his fingers in his beak and even play choke him.
What a difference............

It could be jealousy. She considers you to belong to her. It would be best if your wife kept the bird away from her face.
I kiss Chyloe all the time. Hubby often jokes that one day she will put a hole in my lip then he will put a ring through it. So far I have been lucky and not received a lip bite. Chy is bonded to me.
