Your son is lucky that Beaker now considers him a friend or he would have received a bite for trying that.

I know it has been said before but Beaker is in such lovely condition.

That's awesome - there's a lot of trust there. I wouldn't dare do that with Ruby unless I wanted a nice bite haha!

This is a "private" little game Beaker and my son play.
Beaker sees my son and he runs to the top of his boing (chase me chase me!).
My son "chases" him and when caught, Beaker does a "Raspberry" and a whistle as a sign he "gives up".
A complete 180 from when he used to bite him.
My son would walk away and not play with him.
Beaker figured it out, ergo no more biting my son.

That is so cute!
The sounds Beaker makes when they play are cute too, I sometimes forget that Grey's can make high-pitched sounds like that as well. When I was younger and un-informed, I assumed big bird = big sounds only haha.
I'm not sure what Aka would do if I did that, I'd be to scared to hurt him. If anyone else tries that with him they would lose a finger.....

Those sounds are Beaker's indication that he "gives up".
My son and Beaker have a great bond now.
Beaker pretty much allows him to do anything, including being chased across the floor where he then runs under his cage where he is "safe".
What a nut.
