I probably am not writing what we already know.
I caught the flu over the weekend and I was miserable.
Today I am home from work, still a bit under the weather.
Beaker is camped out on my leg, preening.
He isn't making any demands, yelling, or fussing.
The little guy missed me as I was bedridden for two days.

That is true love, and caring on Beekers part. They are so intuitive. Sid did the same for me anytime I was ill. Hey for Beaker

Beaker was sitting on my leg camping out for most of the day.
Left a big pile of dust and feather crap even though he got an air bath on Saturday.
We shared sherbet and cranapple juice.

I just recovered from a bad cold. At least it wasn't the flu. Get well soon.

I just recovered from a bad cold. At least it wasn't the flu. Get well soon. Haz I think that is the definition of the flu..... Today was at least tolerable with no hacking or wheezing. The wheezing had me on my knees several times, could not catch a breath. Maybe tonight I will actually get a decent nights sleep. I have a portable oxygen tank (private plane) a friend gave me and I had it filled a few months ago. I hit that thing for 15 minutes before bed and it helped. I figured the highly oxygenated red blood cells would make any virus "burn up" on contact.

It is worse at night. I could breathe OK during the day but at night I could not breathe through my nose. Thank goodness that is over. I hope it gets better for you soon.

Thanks for all the get wells.
Just watching all my old TV shows today.
Interesting they have been made PC correct, at least they edit out the words that are no longer acceptable.
Like rewriting history IMO.

Manzi has been like that with me. Super sweet when I'm sick. I hope you're feeling better.
But when I badly sprained my ankle and couldn't walk for two weeks, he was a terror. He knew I couldn't get up to stop him from getting into trouble, so any time he was out, he would fly out of reach and do all the bad things he wasn't supposed to do!! It was like he knew I was okay and would be just fine, so he didn't need to comfort me. Just terrorize my place!
