I saw something funny in a TV programme called: "The Posh Frock Shop". It is about a dress designer who creates wedding dresses and other dresses for special occasions. A customer arrived with a backpack containing an African Grey Parrot. She got him out and put him on a stand and he was very settled, talking, looking around and making noises.
The dress designer does not like birds and so he was standing back looking worried.
The customer had been invited to a wedding and wanted a suitable outfit. She tried on a dress which was grey and had grey fabric roses all round the shoulders. She said it was lovely but no good because her parrot wouldn't be able to stand on the roses.
Meanwhile the dress designer had gone off to get some champagne but the presence of the parrot had made him so nervous he dropped it all over the floor.
The customer had brought some red tail feathers and these were used to decorate a hat. In the end a suitable dress was chosen in colours to match the parrot and in a design at the shoulders suitable for him to stand on.
At the end of the programme the dress designer managed to give the parrot a treat.

That's an odd story. I love my grey but I can't see myself dressed like one.
